Terms of Service

Central Tracker helps immigrants and immigration attorneys manage cases, track USCIS and immigration court status, store documents, use AI-assisted guidance, and connect through a lawyer marketplace. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. AI features are not legal advice, subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled, and you can delete your account in the app at any time.

Acceptance of Terms

You must be at least 13 years old, or 16 in the European Economic Area. In Brazil, you must be at least 18 years old or have verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian because the Service processes sensitive immigration-related information.

By creating an account, downloading the Central Tracker app, or using related web services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of a law firm or organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

Description of the Service

BoldVault LLC operates Central Tracker, an immigration case-management and marketplace platform available on mobile and through related web services.

  • USCIS case tracking uses receipt numbers you provide to query the official USCIS Case Status API. Status snapshots, history timelines, fees, and notes are stored in your account.
  • EOIR and immigration court tracking uses public ACIS portal flows, including in-app WebView steps where you complete any required human verification. We do not bypass court security controls.
  • The document vault stores immigration-related PDFs and DOCX files in encrypted AWS S3 cloud storage. File count and size limits depend on your subscription tier.
  • The optional US Documentation vault stores sensitive identification fields you choose to enter, including driver's license, A-Number, EAD, passport, visa, SSN, and ITIN data.
  • The AI immigration assistant provides immigration guidance, case analysis, and drafting assistance using Google Gemini via Google AI. AI interactions consume AI credits according to your plan and any top-up purchases.
  • The attorney marketplace lets verified immigration attorneys and firms maintain searchable profiles, exchange connection requests, and collaborate with users who choose to share matters.
  • Organization practice tools support shared clients, staff membership, case operations, and firm-scoped billing where enabled.
  • Central Tracker may send in-app notifications, push notifications through Expo push infrastructure, and transactional email for case updates, marketplace events, billing, and security alerts.
  • Sign-in options are Google and Apple OAuth where available. Sessions are stored securely on your device using industry-standard native storage.

Account Registration and Security

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your credentials and accept responsibility for activity under your account.
  • Notify us promptly at support@boldvault.io if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Do not sell, share, or transfer account credentials except through explicitly provisioned organization accounts.

User Responsibilities and Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of U.S., Brazilian, or other applicable law. You may not submit false immigration information, impersonate others, access another user's data, reverse engineer the Service, disrupt service integrity, circumvent plan limits, harvest contacts, upload harmful content, or use AI features to facilitate fraud or unauthorized practice of law.

Partner attorneys must comply with applicable rules of professional conduct, including advertising, solicitation, and conflict-of-interest rules in each jurisdiction where they practice.

AI Assistant Limitations

AI responses are for informational and educational purposes only. The AI Assistant is not a licensed attorney, does not provide legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship.

AI-generated content may be incomplete, outdated, or inapplicable to your circumstances. Consult a licensed immigration attorney before making decisions, filing petitions, or responding to government agencies.

Government Data

USCIS and EOIR systems are operated by U.S. government agencies. We do not control the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data returned by those systems.

Government status displayed in the app is not legal advice and may lag official correspondence. Rely on official agency notices and licensed counsel for authoritative decisions.

EOIR data is obtained through public portals you interact with. We transmit USCIS receipt numbers to the USCIS Case Status API solely to retrieve status on your behalf.

Billing, Subscriptions, and Refunds

  • Paid subscriptions bill monthly or annually in advance through Stripe and auto-renew unless cancelled before renewal.
  • Subscriptions may be cancelled through in-app subscription management, the Stripe Customer Portal, Apple App Store, or Google Play where applicable.
  • The Free tier is available subject to plan limits, including active case caps and monthly AI token allocation. Free tier entitlements may change with 30 days' notice.
  • AI credit top-up packs are one-time purchases and are generally non-refundable once credits are applied.
  • Subscription charges are generally non-refundable unless required by applicable consumer protection law.
  • If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@boldvault.io within 14 days.
  • Price changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance by email and/or in-app notification.
  • Referral rewards are marketing incentives fulfilled through Tremendous. They are not legal fee sharing, commissions on legal services, or investment returns.

Account Deletion and Data Retention

You may permanently delete your account in the app through More, Delete Account, or by emailing support@boldvault.io. Deletion is immediate and irreversible for active account data, including cases, documents, AI conversations, US Documentation, location data, and subscription linkage.

Encrypted backups are purged on a rolling 90-day cycle. Cancelling a Stripe subscription does not automatically delete your account.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, design, and branding, is owned by BoldVault LLC and its licensors. You may not use BoldVault trademarks without written permission.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant BoldVault a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and process your content solely to operate the Service.

AI-generated output may be used by you for personal or professional purposes subject to applicable law and third-party AI provider terms. BoldVault LLC makes no warranty regarding copyright status of AI-generated content.

Partner Attorney Terms

  • Maintain a valid bar license where you practice and keep profile information current.
  • Treat BoldVault as a technology platform only, not a client or co-counsel.
  • Use lead information only to respond to the applicable connection request unless the user gives separate consent.
  • Respect plan limits on lead contacts and marketplace interactions.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided as is and as available without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free operation or accuracy of USCIS, EOIR, or other government data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BoldVault LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, immigration benefits, or legal consequences.

Our total liability for claims arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100, except where prohibited by applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BoldVault LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, your immigration decisions, or content you submit.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Delaware law, except that mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence, including Brazil, apply where they cannot be waived.

Before formal proceedings, contact legal@boldvault.io to attempt informal resolution for 30 days. U.S. disputes may be submitted to binding individual arbitration under AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules where permitted.

Brazilian users may also pursue remedies before consumer protection authorities and courts in their domicile where mandatory law permits.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days before they take effect through email and/or prominent in-app notice, with a plain-language summary.

Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Service and delete your account.

Miscellaneous

  • These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any feature-specific supplemental terms constitute the entire agreement.
  • If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
  • Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • You may not assign these Terms without our consent. BoldVault LLC may assign without restriction in connection with a merger or acquisition, subject to the Privacy Policy's data-protection commitments.
